At Zezo Technologies, we respect your right to privacy and your control over your personal data. This page provides clear instructions on how you can request the deletion of your account and any associated data from the Zerra app.
1. What Data is Deleted?
When you request an account deletion, the following data is permanently purged from our systems:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile settings.
- Authentication Data: Login credentials stored via Firebase.
- Personalized Preferences: Watchlists, favorites, and app-specific settings.
Note on Screen Recordings: All screen recordings created using Zerra are processed and stored locally on your device. Zezo Technologies does not have access to these files, and therefore, cannot delete them for you. You must manually delete these files from your device’s gallery.
2. How to Request Data Deletion
Method A: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your data is directly within the Zerra app:
- Open the Zerra app.
- Go to the "My Account" or "Settings" section.
- Scroll down to "Delete Account".
- Confirm your request. Your account and all associated data will be deleted immediately.
Method B: Manual Web Request
If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, you can submit a request via email:
- Send an email to: support@zerra.fun.
- Subject Line: Data Deletion Request - [Your Name].
- Required Info: Please provide the email address used to register the account.
- Processing Time: We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once the process is complete.
3. Data Retention for Legal Compliance
Please note that Zezo Technologies may retain certain information even after a deletion request if required by law, such as:
- Financial Records: Information related to transactions (processed via Stripe/Google Play) must be kept for tax and auditing purposes for a period defined by local regulations.
- Security & Fraud: Minimal data may be kept to prevent fraudulent activity or to protect the safety of other users.
4. Third-Party Data
If you have linked your Zerra account to third-party services (e.g., Google or Facebook Login), you may also need to remove Zerra’s access through their respective security settings:
